![]() August 28, 2002 - 10:27 AM Stupid High School Classmates and Their Stupid Reunions Here's what I found in my email this morning: From: **trips@*****.com
This is a message from JEANETTE C****** and Classmates.com.
You've been invited to the P********* High School Class of 1987 Reunion!
Here are the details: Hi Everyone! I called the high school and they told me that no one was organizing our 15yr. reunion. The school thought this would be a great idea to have a cruise, since we didn't have a 10 yr. reunion. Hey, and if you don't like everyone in your class, your not obligated to sit with them at dinner either. :) Please forward this e-mail to other classmates. I look forward to seeing everyone!! Please call me or e-mail me at newjerseytravel@*****.com or call at 856-***-****, ext. 3 I know it will be an awesome time! Jeanette C******-C*** :)

Classmates, the World's Best Place to Reunite Then I went to classmates.com and saw this: Organizer: JEANETTE C****** When: Jan 19, 2003 Duration: 7 nights Details: Celebrate your 15 year class reunion on board a 7-night cruise. Date: Jan. 19-26, 2003. Sailing from Ft. Lauderdale to San Juan, St. Thomas/St. John, Catalina Island/Casa de Campo and Nassau. Price is only $510/pp, plus port charges, taxes and airfare. Deposit is due immediately. Full payment is due on Nov. 1, 2002. Call me at NJT*****.com 856-***-****, ext. 3. Payment plans are available. Oceanview cabins are available. Call/e-mail me for any information. I can't wait to see everyone! Where: Costa Cruise Lines - CostaVictoria Eastern Caribbean Cruise Cost: $510/pp double occupancy Then I RSVPed at classmates.com: This is a stupid idea. $500+ per person is a lot of money for a high school reunion. There's a lot of people who just can't afford to spend this kind of money let alone take a whole week's vacation off from work for a "high school reunion". And are you the travel agent organizing this cruise?? Your commission probably makes it a good idea for you anyway. And having it right after the holidays (with final payment right before)? You must be kidding me. Yes, after port charges, taxes and airfare, it is going to cost much more then $500+ per person. Shortly after I posted it she deleted my RSVP, but I put it back up. If she deletes it again, I will put it back up. There are about 6 RSVPs so far and all of them are declines. What a MORON! She was a pain in the ass 15 years ago and she is a pain in the ass now. However, if it weren't for her prank calling him, I may have never met and married Blandman. Oh, wait, she's a travel agent. Maybe I can get her to organize the Diaryland Orgy and Murderous Rampage that is happing in November 2002 in NYC. If you want to go, I will pass your info to travel agent moron Jeanette. ![]()
